Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) Blended Course

ALSO is an evidence-based, inter professional, and multidisciplinary training program that equips the entire pregnancy care team with skills to effectively manage obstetric emergencies. This course encourages a team work amongst doctors, nurses and other health care workers, effective communication and debriefing to improve patient safely and maternal outcomes.

This blended course consists of online session and live skills workstations.

Who will be benefitted? : Interns, Resident Doctors, Nurses, Mid Wives, VHN, 1st Responders, Nursing and Physician Assistants and Nursing Students

ALSO and BLSO courses will be conducted every alternate month

Note :

After completing the registration, you will be given login details to do online session. After successfully completing online course, you have to attend live skills workstations on 17.08.2025. Live course includes hands-on skills workstations (PPH, Shoulder Dystocia, Breech, Instrumental deliveries, CTG, Eclampsia, Labour dystocia and Maternal Collapse) and Group testing.

Certificate will be given at the end after successfully completing the live course and it is valid for 3 years.
